Aptly described as “an exquisite collection of local voices,*” the Bach and Handel Chorale was founded by Randall D. Perry in 1984 in anticipation of the 300th anniversaries of Johann Sebastian Bach and George Frideric Handel.  Since that time the Chorale has made a significant contribution to the cultural development of Carbon County.

The Chorale continues in its dedication to performing the works of Bach, Handel, and other masters. In addition to its two principal concerts each year and its seasonal Christmas and Lenten programs, the Chorale frequently presents special performancess and benefit concerts throughout eastern Pennsylvania.
